Add that ear of corn to your summer grilling, then top with a chive spread

Ingredients
| 4 | cobs of corn, with husks |
| 1/4 | cup butter |
| 2 | tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onion tops |
| 1/4 | teaspoon salt |
| 1/4 | teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions

Prepare corn for grilling. Peel back husks, leaving husks attached to base of cob. Remove and discard corn silk from ear of corn. Reserve a thin strand of inner cornhusk from each cob; bringing attached husks back up over each ear; tie with reserved strips of cornhusk. Soak corn in cold water to cover at least 20 minutes. |

Preheat grill according to manufacturer directions. |

Combine butter, chives, salt and pepper in small bowl to make spread; mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. |

Drain water from corn. Keeping husk intact around corn cobs; place cobs directly onto grill grid over medium heat. Grill 20 to 25 minutes or until corn is tender, turning twice. Carefully pull back, twist and remove husks; spread with chive spread. |
